You’re probably thinking that this guy must be a member of the royal family or something. If you know me, you know that that is as far from
the truth as you could possibly get.
Yep, I got some dental work done today. The Dentist gave me my crown. Oh Glory Hallelujah!!
There was no pomp and circumstance. No guards dressed is ridiculous uniforms. No fireworks. And thank goodness there were NO DRILLS today!
He did the drilling stuff on my last visit. There was no pain involved then but it wasn’t my idea of a good way to spend the morning.
This visit to place my crown actually only took around 30 minutes from the time I walked into his office to the time I walked out to my car. Ain’t that a blessing??!!
Oh yeah and there was NO PAIN this time either! PTL!! Me and pain are not friends.
The Bible tells us that, as Christians, we will receive several Crowns to lay before the Lord when we are in heaven. Well, this isn’t one of those thank goodness. I’d have a hard time getting this one off.
I’ll have to say to that I was somewhat apprehensive prior to my Dentist visit today. Like I said…me and pain are NOT friends!!
It’s good to have that behind me and I’m glad I had it done because that tooth would have caused me some major discomfort down the road. I’m not gonna say it again but you already know who is NOT my friend.
It really is nice to go to a Dentist office with a great staff and a Dentist that explains everything he is doing. All in all it was a pleasant experience. That doesn’t mean that I want to do it again any time soon.
I do have some follow-up visits in the near future for routine stuff but I won’t be receiving any more crowns any time soon….and that’s a good thing!
